I had mixed feelings about my stay at the Southold Beach Motel. The location was fantastic, just across the street from the beach and close to Greenport and wineries, which was a plus. However, the cleanliness and upkeep left a lot to be desired. Stained linens and dirty walls made for an uncomfortable environment. Unless they improve their maintenance, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

I recently stayed at the Southold Beach Motel, seeking an affordable option close to the beach and local attractions. While the location is absolutely fantastic, with the beach just across the street and easy access to Greenport and wineries, my overall experience was disappointing. The motel really needs a serious clean-up, as the state of the room left much to be desired.
